"STAYING ON COURSE"

A number of weeks ago I was in the middle of receiving a unique understanding of God's kingdom increasing in the earth. I was also encountering various manifestations of the glory of the Lord. It felt as though I were changing into another man. I was literally seeing the physical realm of creation changing, evolving, responding to the glory of the Lord increasing in the earth. Then suddenly , my life was interrupted by a physical attack against my body. Right now I am still in the process of working out some of those issues. Now it certainly doesn not take a keen understanding to know that the timing of this interruption was not coincidental. So without belaboring the stuff that has gone on with me in the physical realm during this last month, let me tell you what the Lord recently spoken to me.

It all started when I asked the Lord, “What do you want me to do during this time? Do you want me to just pray and study and do nothing else, or something in between? Lord what do you want me to do as I move toward a full, visible recovery in my body?” I clearly heard the Lord say, “Pick up where you left off. Go back to the moment when you were interrupted and continue  from there. Be anxious for nothing, but remember what you were seeing and hearing and continue to initiate it.” So I began to ponder what the Lord had shown me just a few weeks prior to this day. It is amazing how quickly we can forget what the Lord was saying and doing prior to any unexpected interruptions in our lives. 

Before I go on, let me say, “If you feel like you your life has been derailed in anyway from your intended purpose in God, let me in encourage you to stay on course; stay focused. Go back to the moment in the spirit where your life was interrupted and continue to do what the Lord wanted you to do.” Now I understand there are times when our interruptions are divinely instigated by the Spirit of the Lord because He is taking us in a different directionI. I am not referring to those times. I am talking about the times when your heart is set on a divine commission in the spirit and suddenly you are knocked off balance by an unexpected force of events. 

During those times you have to be careful not to give the enemy any room in your life. The other day, Lori reminded me that the enemy cannot put anything on me that I do not want. Thank you Lori. It is a sober reminder not to give the enemy any power whatsoever over your life. In other words, if you encounter something like a health issue in your life it is easy to give credit to the enemy and declare that he is the one making your life miserable. Whereas , in  all actuality, the evil behind your sickness might be as simple as a poor diet. So why give the enemy any more attention then he already has? He loves to home in during our weakest times and make us feel like he is the one creating all of our discomfort. I am not saying that there are not times when a spirit of sickness will come and try to take you out, but we must be discerning of those times. One of the greatest weapons of the enemy is deception. Do not let the enemy deceive you into believing that he has the power to take you out or derail your life simply because he gets the notion to do so. You are a son and daughter of the creator of all life. He is your Father. He your source of life, your hiding place; your place of refuge. His word reigns over all the works of the enemy. Come on God! 

THE WIND OF THE LORD

So the Lord said to me, “Michael, go back to your moment of derailment and remember.” One of the first things that came to mind was the wind. I was remembering how the wind of the Lord whirled around me during my times of prayer and worship. In that moment I could feel the force of heaven appearing in the earth. I remembered the word of the Lord when He said, “The winds are blowing across the earth. Speak to them as Elijah spoke to the four winds. Prophesy to the breath and command it to be released upon this generation, for a great and mighty army is rising up in this hour.” (Ezekiel 37:9-10) Thereafter, I remember going to our gatherings at Mountain Top and prophesying the word of the Lord and commanding the winds of God to blow. Mind you, all of this spiritual activity was proceeded by an intense spiritual hunger emanating from the men and women of God at MTI. We had been longing to see the visible manifestations of the glory of the Lord beyond anything we had ever seen before. It was at this point that we begin to see a notable change in the spirit. Not only did the spiritual wind of God began to blow, but there were various reports of a physical wind as well. The Lord reminded me that the people of God would began to experience physical winds from heaven. 

KEEP IT MOVING

Secondly, I began to recall all of the movement that was occurring in the cosmos. I thought about the outlandish words the Lord had given to me about the transformation of the entire galaxy. We have all witnessed the astounding fruits that followed the prophetic utterances of the Lord. There were changes and movements many never dreamed possible. I was also reminded that all of this activity was the direct result of the glory of heaven increasing in the earth. I pray you hear this. If we stop prophesying there is a certain pause that occurs in the spirit. Prophecy, prophetic creeds and declarations create movement in the spirit, not only in the spirit, but in the natural realm as well. 

Paul writes:

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification. (1Cor 14:1-5)

Why would Paul rank prophesy amongst the three top things to pursue? It is because it creates motion in the body of Christ. As long as the body of Christ is edified, exhorted, and comforted,  it is empowered to advance. Prophesy creates forward motion within the kingdom of God. Prophetic declaration takes it up another notch, it does not just predict movement, it creates it. I was born to prophetically release the word of the Lord, and when I am not doing so, I feel a pause, a moment of silence. Over the last six months or more, every time I would prophetically declare the word of the Lord, whether it was about the cosmos or some other wonder above, there was an unusual affirmation of that word within days and weeks. Over the last month, it is as if there has been little movement in the outer limits. I know this might be hard for some of you to "buy into", but I want you to see the power of your voice; of your words. I want you see where God is taking us. If you say, “move” then the mountain will move. If you say, “be still” then the winds will be still. You are the authoritative and authorised sound of heaven in the earth. Come on God! 

DIVINE INTERRUPTERS

Thirdly, I have since pondered this new level of authority that is rising within the body of Christ, an authoritative realm that will be noted as “divine interrupters.” These amazing interruptions will affect every kingdom in the world. Politics, sports, science, education, business, church; every kingdom known to man is about to be interrupted in a profound way. Weather patterns will be interrupted by men and women of God who refuse to allow the winds, rains, and earthquakes to continue to destroy thousands of lives. Acts of divine healing, signs, wonders, and miracles will interrupt the works the of the enemy at a level the world never dreamed possible. The results of these extreme displays of courage and faith will cause every kingdom to give special attention to the glory and power of God. 

DIVINE COMBINATIONS

Fourthly, I am reminded of recent intense prophetic declaration. During that  moment I saw water and fire mixed together. In the heavenly realm this is not an uncommon occurrence. After that particular meeting a man and woman approached me and said, “Did you know that water, when mixed with the right substance, will burn? Like a certain measure of water and fuel mixed together will burn.” They went on to describe other scientific discoveries that have involved the mixing of water and fire as viable ingredients for power. Oddly enough, this is what I was seeing in the spirit. There are certain things in life; certain people, that have not fit together, but all that is about to change. There are unusual combinations of people coming together; unusual partnerships. Globally, there are unusual alliances that will merge as one. There are also unusual combinations of substances coming together, substances that many have thought were not compatible with each other. Yet these combinations will introduce a whole new quality of life. 

Even as I write these words I am reminded of something the Lord showed me a number of years ago. I saw oxygen in space. I saw places that had always been void of oxygen receive oxygen for the first time. There is a mystery within these words, an understanding that has been hidden since the beginning of time. Where there was once no breath, breath will come. Where there was once no light, light will shine. Where there was once no sound, sound will be heard. We are living in an hour when God is introducing all of creation to a whole new quality of life. What appeared to be the end is only the beginning of a fresh new understanding, both in the natural and in the spirit. Do not be alarmed by governmental collapses that seem to be transpiring everywhere. It is not the end, but the beginning of a new government; a spiritual government that the world has never seen. Let me challenge you to see a government not made by the hands of man, but one that is fashioned by the spirit of the Lord for such a time as this. Just as the law was a tutor to faith, so the natural governments of nations are a mere tutor to a glorious government on earth, just as it is in heaven. Kingdom come!

CREATED TO EXPLORE

We were created to explore. We were created to explore the outer limits of space. We were created to explore the deepest core of the earth. We were created to explore; to examine the most finite elements of life. We were created to comprehend the width, length, depth and height of the spirit; of a love that surpasses all knowledge so that we can be filled with the fullness of God. “To be filled” implies that we are to come under the influence of an understanding that is filled with the knowledge of the Lord; thus the knowledge of the fullness of God. Explore the deepest realms of the spirit. Explore the gifts of the spirit. Dare to go where others would not dare go. Exploration is in the heart of mankind, it is in the imagination of the mind, it is in a dream, a hope, and a desire. Explorations are initiated by seeking and knocking on doors that are waiting to be opened by anyone who says, “There has got to be more.” It is time to go. It is time to move on. It is time to be all that we are destined to be in Him.
