When this was given to me I felt it was an affirmation from God that a great wonder was going to take place with the sun and the moon in the near future, something so large that the whole world would take notice. What was even more intriguing to me about this article was the scientific discovery that both the sun and moon were causing unusual activity to occur in the earth, activity no one knew about. Obviously this got my attention because I remember during our time of worship the strong sense I had in the spirit that the sun and moon were causing movement in the earth outside common knowledge. I could expound on this further, but I will leave it at that for now.

 It was also brought to my attention that on the 28^th of December 2009 Space.com had reported that a partial-lunar-eclipse was going to take place prior to the first of 2010.

Now I understand that this kind of activity is not uncommon. However, according to space.com this kind of eclipse is not suppose to occur again until 2028. “While many are looking for the coming of a new year I am looking for those who will see what I will do before this year ends.” So, what kind of prophet would I be if I did not step out of the boat and boldly declare the word of the Lord? For me, this is one of the things that make walking with God so exciting. In the moment, all you have is what is in your heart and mind, and He watches to see if it is enough. Come on God!  Oh I know. You ask again, "Why? What is this? How does this kind of insight change the worlds' view toward God?" I love you for asking! J

We are living in a time when unusual attention will be given to the sun and the moon, as well as unusual activity that will occur because of their light and movement. This unusual observance will be the result of a wonder from heaven, indicating that we have entered into a time of extraordinary brilliance. We are about to witness some phenomenal displays of God’s brilliant glory, both in the heavens and in the earth. 

 As I mentioned in earlier articles, there is an unusual alignment, unusual activity, that is occurring in the heavens, in space, and in the earth. This heavenly movement is the result of the glory of God bringing His people into the brilliance of His love. What was once termed as “unapproachable light” has dramatically changed. The purity of heaven has risen in the hearts of God’s people. The evidence of this pure presence is causing the entire universe to respond in a glorious manner; thus an unusual alignment is rapidly developing.  We have entered into another realm of light. We have been clothed with another layer of glory. We are becoming a testimony to the world that God is very approachable. 

Historically, it is not uncommon for God to use the elements above the earth, on the earth, and in the earth, to accomplish His intentions toward His people. Fire, wind, hail stones and earthquakes are just a few forms of creation that God has used to intervene in the activity of humanity. During a time of great conflict, God moved upon Joshua to speak to the sun and moon. 

In the presence of Israel Joshua declared, "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people had revenge upon their enemies. (Josh 10:10-14)

If God would do this in ancient times against flesh and blood, how much more would He  show wonders above to break away the powers of darkness that have blinded the hearts and minds of God’s people in this day and age. In these same passages of scripture reference is given to the Book of Jasher as a testimony to Joshua’s actions, “So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day, and there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel.”

 David declared, “His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me; It shall be established forever like the moon, even like the faithful witness in the sky." (Ps 89:36-37) David uses the sun and moon as an analogy of God’s throne and faithful witness. So once again God will use these two glorious lights and the entire universe as a faithful witness; as a sign and wonder of His glorious kingdom rising in the earth. 

The light of God was always destined to lead the way, whether in the stars or in us. The light of God is the true governmental authority in the earth. Don’t you see, we are the destined rulers now and forever. They have just now discovered that the sun and the moon cause the earth to shake. But you and I both know that the true source of the shaking of the earth is the glory of God. It is the brilliance of His kingdom forever increasing throughout the world. This is one of the most brilliant hours of our lifetime. I challenge you to see, observe the spectacular display of God’s glory now, before the year 2010.
